Acceptance of Terms & Technical Scope
Welcome to SupportOutcome Casebook. By accessing our platform, downloading 3D slicer profiles, utilizing automated test matrix benchmarks, or referencing print parameter guides, you agree to comply with and be strictly bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any portion of these provisions, you must terminate access immediately.
SupportOutcome Casebook operates as an open technical reference repository cataloging empirical overhang calculations, support interface removal benchmarks, peel force measurements, and surface roughness (Ra) metrics across additive manufacturing workflows.
02
Intellectual Property & Slicing Profile Licensing
All proprietary support algorithms, high-resolution macroscopic surface photography, comparative peeling charts, and structured test protocols hosted on this domain are protected under international intellectual property frameworks.
- Open Profile Distribution: Exported slicing profile presets (.3mf, .ini, .curaprofile) marked as open-source may be used, modified, and incorporated into commercial or personal additive manufacturing pipelines under permissive open licenses specified in respective metadata headers.
- Analytical Documentation: Technical case studies, benchmark write-ups, and macroscopic failure comparison galleries may not be scraped, republished, or redistributed in bulk without explicit written attribution.
- Trademarks: Reference to slicer engines such as PrusaSlicer, Cura, Bambu Studio, or OrcaSlicer is purely descriptive under nominative fair use doctrine.
03
Empirical Test Data & Accuracy Disclaimer
All physical testing values—including surface roughness micro-measurements (Ra), contact point scar area calculations, filament consumption deviations, and peel force thresholds—are empirical observations derived within controlled test environments.
Environmental Variance Notice
Additive manufacturing outcomes depend heavily on local ambient humidity, thermistor calibration variance, mechanical backlash, nozzle wear, and filament batch consistency. Exact reproduction of published tolerances cannot be unconditionally guaranteed across uncalibrated hardware.
04
User Conduct & Submissions
When submitting benchmark replication results, custom support trees, or comparative print observations to the casebook registry, you represent and warrant that:
- You hold the legal right to distribute all uploaded 3D CAD geometry and slicing configuration metadata.
- Your submittals do not contain weapon schematics, hazardous device models, or proprietary components protected under non-disclosure agreements.
- All uploaded metrics (temperatures, speeds, flow ratios) reflect genuine empirical attempts rather than falsified telemetry.
05
Hardware Safety, Tool Handling & Risk Disclaimer
Physical post-processing of additive manufacturing supports involves sharp mechanical removal tools (flush cutters, deburring blades, ultrasonic cutters), chemical dissolution solvents (D-Limonene, warm water baths for PVA), and high-temperature hotends.
SupportOutcome Casebook, its authors, and contributors assume zero liability for personal injury, mechanical tool slippage, eye damage from airborne support shards, nozzle thermal runaway, or heated bed damage incurred while attempting the recipes and techniques documented on this platform. Users are exclusively responsible for donning adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) including ANSI Z87.1 certified eye protection.
06
Third-Party Slicer Compatibility & Updates
Software updates to third-party slicing applications may modify path generation math, branch expansion logic, or bridge flow calculations. While our team periodically updates test matrices, we do not warrant ongoing forward or backward compatibility for outdated slicer releases.
07
Modifications of Terms
We reserve the right to revise or adjust these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes become effective immediately upon posting to this repository URL. Your continued use of the technical archives following updates constitutes affirmative acceptance of the adjusted legal framework.
